POLICY STATEMENT

It is our policy to provide safe and healthy working conditions that allow employees to perform work in the safest practicable manner, consistent with good practice such that work-related injury and ill health is prevented. The health and safety of our employees and all those likely to be affected by our operations is the responsibility of the management, and as a priority it ranks equally with production and profit. Adequate resources are made available to ensure the success of this policy.

It is the duty of management to do everything practicable to prevent injury and ill health, eliminate hazards and reduce risks. It is equally the duty of each employee to exercise personal responsibility for his or her own safety and that of others and comply with health and safety instructions and procedures.

All employees are to be aware that, in the event of any conflict between the demands of production and safety, they will receive management support if it is necessary to choose the safety of employees or third parties as the priority.

The term ‘employees’ includes self-employed and Agency personnel whilst they are working on our behalf.

It is our policy to adhere completely to the requirements of the Labour Act 2003, Act 651 and all relevant Regulations and Codes of Practice made under the Act which affects our operations.

The attention of all personnel is directed to this Policy. Any revisions will be incorporated when necessary and these will also be brought to the attention of all personnel.

The company is fully committed to continuous improvement through the implementation of management programs. In support of this commitment we have set objectives and targets to accomplish in due course.

The understated policies have been prepared after due consultation with those involved in its operations and has the full backing and authority of the Managers.
